This building was designed by the internationally renowned architect Daniel Liebeskind. Murphy, working with the client and the fit-out architects Michael Collins and Associates, designed and curated a permanent art installation on the 6th Floor executive suite. The installation entitled, Gallerie de Curiosité was based on the concept of a Victorian, Cabinet de Curiosité, which typically housed an eclectic collection of interesting objects. This installation is intended to challenge people’s ideas about art, and to reflect the numerous methods and materials that artists use today. Some of the materials used are recycled, referencing the green agenda of the company and the business interests of many of its clients. Since the start of the staged implementation, the installation has become a catalyst for initiating discussion between visitors and employees whilst enhancing the brand image of the solicitors as creative innovators. Furthermore, the artworks have introduced contemporary art within the workplace to employees in a totally unique and accessible way. Artists featuring in the Gallerie deCuriosité are: Killian Schurmann, Alice Maher, Stephen O’Brien, Mark Garry, Susan Cuffe, Bob Quinn, Adam Devir, Tom Climent and Peter Monaghan. The installation also features the work of the poet Eilis ni Dhuibhne
